The PSA CPSU NSW is proud to celebrate National Corrections Day, which recognises the tough work done by our members in the state’s gaols.

National Corrections Day gives us a chance to honour the hardworking members who do so much to run our prisons and Community Corrections programs in a professional manner, protecting the people of NSW and giving offenders a second chance through rehabilitation.

Corrections is a cornerstone of the criminal justice system. Few professions require the strength, resilience, and courage required of our members in this vital part of the Public Sector.

Every PSA CPSU NSW member working in the state’s corrections system should be proud of the work they perform in some of the state’s most challenging workplaces. Thanks to your commitment, NSW continues to be one of the safest places to live in the world. The people of our state benefit from the work each one of you do, often behind the scenes and too often unrecognised.
