At a recent meeting of members at the ADHC Nepean Blue Mountains (NBM) office at Penrith – the first district identified for privatisation and the early roll out of NDIS – members in attendance unanimously voted to implement the bans.

A subsequent meeting of the ADHC NBM Access Managers also unanimously agreed to implement the bans. This decision was communicated by the managers to the management of the District.

The ADHC Departmental Committee Executive, at a teleconference on Friday, 19 June 2015, praised the actions of the members at Penrith. It also passed a resolution praising the brave actions of the managers in standing strong in the fight against privatisation. The resolution reads:

“The ADHC DC Executive at its teleconference on 19 June 2015 was advised that the Access Managers in the Nepean Blue Mountains District decided to implement the bans. This meeting of the DC Executive applauded the stance of these managers and is in full support of these managers who are great role models for all AHDC Managers.”
