This is a reminder to members that the Special Leave arrangements for COVID-19 are still in place. The Special Leave leave is allowed for by C20221-14 Employment Arrangements during COVID-19, which you can read HERE.

Please note, the Special Leave in the first instance only applies if you exhaust your sick leave while off work because you have COVID-19.

However, if you have to care for a family member with COVID-19, it should be immediately available.

There are a few grey areas in how the Special Leave may apply. The best advice; if in doubt as to whether you are eligible, you can always contact the PSA for further assistance and advice.
