Newcastle Union Training – Introduction to the PSA and Role of the Delegate

NSW government employees are eligible for 12 days of paid leave every two years to attend Trade Union Training. If you’re covered by an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA), check your agreement to confirm your entitlements.

The PSA is holding “Introduction to the PSA” and “Role of the delegate” at Newcastle Trades Hall in October.. These courses complement each other; Introduction to the PSA gives you a background and knowledge of the PSA as an industrial organisation, and Role of the Delegate equips you with the tools and knowledge to assist you in representing your colleagues in the workplace.

You don’t need to be a delegate to attend these courses; Delegates are vital members of your Union, and if you’re considering becoming one or simply curious about getting involved, this is your opportunity!

The training courses will be held at Newcastle Trades Hall 930-4pm on the following dates:

15 October – Introduction to the PSA

16 October – Role of the Delegate

You can sign up for the courses HERE.
