NSW Crime Commission: become a workplace PSA delegate – your voice, your union
Why workplace delegates matter
A delegate is your on-the-ground connection to your union, the Public Service Association. They are essential for:
- Ensuring member’s concerns are heard and escalated appropriately
- Providing immediate representation and support when issues arise
- Helping maintain transparent communication between staff and the union
- Strengthening collective decision-making and improving workplace culture
- Ensuring consultation requirements under policy and industrial instruments are upheld
Having an active delegate is one of the strongest ways to ensure your voice is included in any discussions that affect your working conditions.
PSA union action
The PSA will be formally approaching the NSW Crime Commission to re-establish structured communication and consultation processes. Our intention is to ensure that:
- Workplace issues are addressed promptly and collaboratively
- Member’s concerns are acknowledged and actioned
- Proper consultation occurs before changes are implemented
- The NSW Crime Commission recognises and respects its obligations under industrial agreements
A consistent and transparent consultation pathway is essential for resolving issues, improving the workplace, and protecting the wellbeing of all staff.
Your role
We encourage members to:
- Connect with or nominate a workplace delegate
- Communicate any concerns through your delegate or directly to the PSA
- Stay engaged as we push for improved consultation and accountability
Together, we can make sure your workplace is fair, safe, and properly represented.
In the coming days please look out for a PSA survey for delegate nominations and endorsements.
