The Public Service Association (PSA) understands consultation is currently open for the creation of a Chief Operations Office of EnergyCo. The proposal includes the creation of 43 new positions, and eight positions to be deleted. The PSA welcomes the creation of secure, ongoing public sector jobs at EnergyCo, and seeks to ensure a fair and transparent process for placing existing impacted staff in the new structure. The PSA understands this tranche of changes also includes a number of changes to reporting lines, existing positions and their responsibilities.
Staff directly impacted are currently working in the Government and Parliamentary Services, Finance, Procurement, Risk Management, Workplace Services, and Information Management and Reporting divisions.
