NSW Public Works Heritage win – September 2016 (PDF version)

The PSA, together with the CFMEU and Professionals Australia, had a win last month against the privatisation agenda of the Baird Government.

In August, DFSI announced that it was backing down on the Government’s ill-fated plans to privatise NSW Public Works Heritage Services.

We thank members who were involved in the joint union effort to save the Heritage section of Public Works from privitasation.

Our collective actions made a huge difference in not only keeping Heritage Services publicly owned, but in maintaining the valuable and unique skills of Heritage Services workers in the public sector.
