In our previous bulletin we mentioned an end date of 30 June 2019. This was an error. The Agreement lasts until three years from commencement. This will be after the Fair Work Commission ratifies it so the Agreement will run probably until September 2019. We will know the actual date once the Fair Work Commission approves the Agreement.

Remember that there are no changes to conditions. Your conditions will therefore be protected for the life of the new agreement.

It is important in this time of uncertainty that conditions are protected for as long as possible. This agreement achieves that. For this reason PSA members have voted to recommend a ‘Yes’ vote for the ballot this week.

If your colleagues are not in the union, it is worth reminding them that the more members we have, the better we are able to protect the hard-won conditions that have been achieved. We ask you to ask your colleagues to join the PSA.
