Pillar Enterprise Agreement Bargaining update
Pillar Enterprise Agreement Bargaining update – July 2016 (PDF version)
The PSA has written to the NSW Treasurer, Gladys Berejiklian, regarding the 12 month enterprise agreement recently rejected by members and expressing our concern about the uncertainty posed by such a short-term agreement.
The PSA has also advocated in the letter to the Treasurer for members on individual contracts to have redundancy and redeployment provisions included in their contracts, as per custom and practice.
Pillar management have indicated they are willing to seek approval from Government for a 2 year agreement with a 2.5% increase each year.
We also advise members that the Protected Action Ballot Order (PABO) has now been listed in the Fair Work Commission for Thursday 7 July.
Members will be informed of the outcome of the PABO application following the hearing.
Whilst we await a response from the NSW Treasurer, we ask that members submit their views on the terms of any possible agreement via this short survey:
Please select your preference from the questions below:
- Do you want the PSA to seek a 2 year term for the length of the agreement, inclusive of a 2.5% salary increase for each year
OR
- Do you support the PSA continuing to negotiate for an agreement to protect salary and conditions for as long a term as possible (ie. two, three or four years)
