Your union is starting to prepare for the next round of enterprise bargaining negotiations and we want you to be involved!

Members Meeting
Pillar Enterprise Agreement 2015
Thursday 7 August 2014
1pm
Coniston Community Centre

Come and endorse your bargaining team and have your say about preparing for a new agreement

The win the members had in 2012 to achieve a decent pay rise and stop a raft of cuts to conditions will still be fresh in many minds. The last pay increase of 3.85% from the current Agreement only came into effect from 1 July 2014. But your union wants to make sure we are organised to secure your pay and conditions from 2015 and beyond.

Preparation
Our first step in preparing is to endorse a group of members to form our bargaining team. These members will guide our preparation process (finding out what you want!) be involved in negotiations and lead our communications and any campaigning. We want a broad group that represents all areas of Pillar.

All bargaining team members will have training from the Union and will work with our experienced Industrial Advocates during negotiations.

If you are interested in being involved, please come to the members meeting on 7 August 2014.

How to be involved
Do you care about the future wages and conditions at Pillar? Do you want to make sure your voice is heard? Do you want to stand up for your colleagues to make sure everyone has a fair go at work?

Come to the members meeting on 7 August at 1pm and either volunteer to be on the bargaining team, or endorse your fellow members who put up their hand.

As a union member, your union is your bargaining representative – this is your chance to endorse who speaks for you!

Not a member yet (or know someone who isn’t)?
Having a united front in bargaining is the best way to ensure that wages and conditions are improved and protected. By joining the union you can have your say over what issues we pursue.

Non-members are invited to attend and join at our meeting on 7 August (voting will be restricted to members) or join online at www.psa.asn.au
