POVB Bulletin CESU Cyclic Rostering – April 2019 (PDF version)
Members would be aware that cyclic rostering is being introduced to court escort security unit locations.
Consultation has taken place between CESU management and the POVB Executive.
The Executive has provided feedback to CESU management on the business rules and changes have been made to increase flexibility in the rules. Management have sent the rules to all locations for members to go through. Any feedback should be emailed to your Assistant Superintendent or Senior Assistant Superintendent and include us in the feedback.
A road show to all locations is taking place, there will be a POVB Executive member present for these meetings.
CESU management have sent proposed rosters to all locations and want feedback. If you want to look at 12hour shifts for the 24hr locations, then request a proposed roster and this will let your members have a clear perspective on what will be the best fit for your location. Look at the proposed rosters and then when it comes time for the roadshow meeting, we will have those rosters to discuss. Please provide feedback to CESU management and the POVB Executive so we have a starting base when we meet.
It is proposed to have a phone hook-up of all delegates on 29 May 2019 – time to be determined. This was requested so communication is consistent. We have requested that CESU management email every staff member of CESU with an update from them in regards to the introduction of cyclic rosters.
