POVB Facility Maintenance Sub Branch election results

The PSA is pleased to advise members of the outcome of the recent election for Facility Maintenance representatives.
Following the conclusion of the nomination and voting process, the following members have been elected to represent Facility Maintenance employees:
- Ben Avery Country Delegate, Cessnock Correctional Centre
We did not have anyone nominate for the Metro position, therefore Martin Middleton, Silverwater Complex, has volunteered to fill this vacancy as a contact person.
- Martin Middleton Metro Contact, Silverwater Complex
These representatives will play an important role in advocating on behalf of Facility Maintenance staff, raising workplace issues, and ensuring members’ interests are effectively represented at both a local and broader level.
The Association thanks all members who participated in the nomination and voting process. Your engagement helps strengthen our collective voice and ensures strong representation across all areas of the workplace.
We also acknowledge the outgoing representatives for their contribution and commitment in supporting members and advancing workplace matters during their tenure.
The next Joint Consultative meeting is on Wednesday 10 June 2026.
The PSA looks forward to working closely with the newly elected representatives to continue advocating for improved conditions, safety, and outcomes for Facility Maintenance staff.
