PSA Aboriginal Advisory Council – October 2017 (PDF version)

Invitation

Members of the PSA Western Division are invited to attend a public forum with the PSA Aboriginal Advisory Council.

Meeting details

  • Dubbo Local Aboriginal Land Council, corner Wingewarra and Darling streets, Dubbo NSW
  • 12.30pm, Friday 27 October, 2017

Light refreshments and a light lunch will be provided

The purpose of the meeting is for Aboriginal members and supporters to discuss with the PSA Aboriginal Advisory Council issues relating to Aboriginal employment.

PSA President, Kylie McKelvie, and PSA General Secretary, Stewart Little, will be in attendance and are keen to hear from members about how the PSA should promote quality Aboriginal employment. The NSW Government is the largest employer of Aboriginal workers across the country.

The Aboriginal Advisory Council has been formed to advise the PSA on how to promote Aboriginal members’ interests and develop Aboriginal Employment policy.

With the direction the NSW Government is taking with privatisation and cutbacks of services and employment across all Government agencies, the PSA is working hard to protect the rights and interests of all its members; and protect the services they provide.
