PSA Campaign: Value Us Because We Value You, NSW State Emergency Service

Thank you to all members who attended the soft launch of the PSA’s Value Us Before We Value You campaign on 6 May 2026.
Since then, delegates David Cox and Anna Thomas addressed the PSA’s Country Conference on 27 May 2026, where they spoke about the critical work undertaken by NSW SES salaried staff in supporting both the community and the volunteers who serve it.
Next Steps – Campaign Survey
This survey, which can be completed HERE, aims to understand how valued NSW SES staff feel in the course of their employment. Your responses will help inform the PSA’s Value Us Because We Value You campaign and ensure that staff are properly recognised and supported.
The survey includes questions about:
- What being valued at work means to you,
- Workloads,
- Payment of overtime during the suspension of flex, and
- Occupational violence.
Your feedback will assist in identifying systemic issues and guiding discussions with management.
The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
