PSA Lodges Dispute Over Restructure
The PSA is now in dispute with the Public Service Commission over the current restructure process.
On September 10 2020, the PSA lodged a dispute with the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW in relation to restructuring within the Public Service Commission.
The dispute relates to there being insufficient information as to how the new structure will address the work previously conducted by 10 high-level roles within the organisation.
The PSA maintains the view that more information is required regarding the structure and workload prior to its progression. The PSA believes the Public Service Commission is not meeting the requirements to properly consult under the Crown Employees (Public Service Conditions of Employment) Award 2009.
Members have consistently raised concerns about the restructure process to the PSA.
The PSA will maintain in constant communication with members throughout this process.
