PSA members meeting invitation: find out how we are building our campaign for Members of Parliament staff
12 May 2026
You are invited to join an online meeting for PSA members working for Members of Parliament staff (MoPS).
At this meeting, we will provide an update on the meetings your delegates and PSA staff have been attending, including the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meeting with HR/DPS, where we raised questions and issues on your behalf regarding the recent Members’ Staff Conditions of Employment Survey.
We will also outline the campaigns your new Members of Parliament Advisory Group who are building to win fair remuneration and conditions.
We also want to hear directly from you
Too often staff in Member of Parliament offices are expected to keep their heads down, even when conditions are unfair or insecure. The PSA exists so that staff have a collective voice, and this meeting is an opportunity for you to raise the issues you want us to fight for.
Your experiences help shape our campaign. The more we hear from members, the stronger our case becomes when we take these issues forward with government and parliamentary authorities.
Together we can build the momentum needed to secure the respect, recognition and conditions that Members of Parliament staff deserve.
Please see recent news article HERE about the PSA’s push for an industrial award.
We can also update on:
- Agenda items for the upcoming Joint Consultative Committee Meeting 16 June 2026
- PSA salaries case update
- Union member fortnight giveaways campaign from May to December 2026.
We hope you can join us for on-line lunch time meeting.
