It’s nearly that time of year again where the PSA encourages the school community to celebrate its vitally important support staff and wellbeing professionals. The PSA Schools Recognition Week is scheduled to take place from 26 August to 30 August 2024.
This year more than ever we ask you to recognise the work of your Administrative staff, General Assistants and Farm Assistants, those in the science lab, the library, technology, and applied sciences, our those working in the classroom and supporting the wellbeing of students.
We encourage all Principals to plan an event and activity to celebrate We Just Do IT and recognise the non-teaching staff across the school community.
A package of goodies from the PSA, addressed to The Principal, has already been sent to you in celebration of PSA Schools Recognition Week.
Linked below is a letter from the PSA General Secretary Stewart Little to you and one addressed to the P&C. We have also included a handy activity sheet with some suggestions that schools have found successful during PSA Schools Recognition Week in the past, and the PSA poster.
