The PSA have written to the Secretary of Transport for NSW imploring TfNSW to once again put in place a policy to not make employees forcibly redundant.

NSW has higher than ever community transmission rates, a hard lock down in place affecting the economy and employment, and an extremely contagious and deadly variant of COVID – 19.

With note that Premier Berejiklian has stated, this is a national crisis.

The situation is worse than what it was at the beginning of the Pandemic when TfNSW instituted the policy of no forced redundancies to support their staff through the difficulties of the Pandemic.

We are urging TfNSW to continue to support their staff and once again institute a moratorium on forced redundancies.

The PSA are awaiting a response from the Secretary. We will keep members updated.
