PSA writes to Baird: fear for clients as NDIS roll-out slowed down August 2015 (PDF version)

With reports the Federal Government is looking at slowing the roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme due to costs, the Public Services Association (PSA) has grave concerns the scheme will be reduced to a poorly funded, low-budget exercise.

The privatisation and removal of all public disability services provided by Ageing Disability and Home Care is now even more perilous.

On 21 August 2015, Acting PSA General Secretary, Steve Turner wrote to Premier Baird seeking assurances ADHC will not be dismantled, and that it will remain a viable choice for people with disability, their families and carers in NSW.
