PSA writes to NSWCC expressing member frustration on postponement of award transition

Postponement of Award Transition - Feb 2020 (PDF version)

Following the developments that led to the award transition process being halted the day before it was set to begin, there has been strong member feedback expressing frustration, disappointment, anger, and confusion.

The way this process has unfolded has unfortunately had an understandably significant impact on the trust and confidence members have in getting their employment arrangements adequately and fairly administered.

At a recent meeting, members passed a motion that the PSA write to the NSW Crime Commission expressing this sentiment. A copy of the letter is available HERE.

At this stage, the next hearing in the Industrial Relations Commission has been stood over to April to allow the Wages Policy Taskforce to convene and provide a position to the NSW Crime Commission.

The PSA will update members on relevant developments as they come to hand.
