Revenue NSW – 35 job losses!
Revenue NSW – 35 job losses! – May 2018 (PDF version)
Back in early February Management put forward a proposal to “Blend” the functions of the Services and Collections Team. The Services team was none too happy with the proposal and a document outlining extensive members’ concerns was forwarded to Management.
Staff would already be aware of numerous issues associated with this work site. The simple solution – according to Management – is to conduct a Restructure and do away with 35 jobs.
The PSA has three (3) concurrent disputes with Revenue NSW in the Industrial Relations Commission about issues at Maitland!
This coming Wednesday, 9 May, at 12 noon, PSA General Secretary Stewart Little, along with local Member of Parliament Jenny Aitchison and Opposition spokesperson on Finance Clayton Barr, will be holding a press conference outside the Maitland building. Immediately following we’ll be holding a PSA Members’ Meeting at the Belmore Hotel. Download and print off a meeting flyer for your noticeboards HERE.
Despite repeated scare tactics from Management all members at Maitland are strongly encouraged to attend the press conference and the following meeting. The meeting will run until 2pm but the PSA will be in attendance until 6pm to ensure all members have the opportunity to voice their concerns outside of work hours.
If you are unable to attend the meeting you are able to seek assistance through the PSA Member Support Centre, Ph: 1300 772 679, email: , quote Call 102484 if your matter is in relation to the restructure.
