As members will be aware, management met with members on Tuesday, 2 July 2019 and presented information on the Role Description and Capabilities required and myPerformance.
This meeting came about as a result of PSA Delegates requesting at the last JCC meeting that management conduct a presentation with staff. Delegates had made it clear to management they were not happy with a number of points contained within the Role Description/Capabilities provided, and suggested management should itself address the staff on the Capability Framework/Role Description, it being a Government initiative.
The discussions with management and the PSA occurred over the past 18 months due to the fact that there was strong opposition and lack of agreement on various aspects of the document.
The PSA will continue to protect members’ interests in relation to the above issues. A members’ meeting will be organised shortly to discuss management’s presentation.
