Declarations

The Fair Work Commission has approved changes to the CPSU NSW Branch Rules regarding Group Voting and the method of election for delegates to the Federal Council and the conduct of the Ballot for the election of branch delegates. In accordance with the recommendation of the Registrar the decision (R2024/176) is published below, for the information of members. We confirm that the new subrule 14.5(a) allows for both grouped and ungrouped candidates. For further details please contact us via the Member Support Centre on 1800 772 679.

Enforceable Undertaking

On 21 December 2023 the CPSU agreed to a set of enforceable undertakings with the Fair Work Commission as a result of contraventions of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009 (Cth) by one of its Branches. Those enforceable undertakings can be downloaded.
