Your RFS Award

The PSA is pleased to inform you that we have given the Rural Fire Service a list of changes that we want to see to your working conditions under your Award. This is called a ‘log of claims’, and you can read it HERE

This log of claims is the culmination of a long process of engagement with our members in the Rural Fire Service. The PSA conducted a comprehensive survey and held numerous listening meetings throughout the state. We assembled a bargaining team representing all parts of the RFS, and the team worked hard to analyse the results of the survey and the feedback we received through the listening meetings, and then drew that information together into the log of claims.

The log of claims will form the foundations of our negotiations with the RFS, which will commence at the Joint Consultative Committee meeting on 19 November 2015.

We will continue to consult with our members as the negotiations progress. If you have any questions or feedback, please contact any member of the bargaining team.
