The PSA has been notified in relation to a restructure in Newcastle Card Operations.
The proposed Restructure Management Plans (RMPs) has been announced to staff today in the Newcastle Card Operation Team, Middle Officers, Service Delivery Division, Service NSW with a two today week consultation commencing 10 October and closing on 24 October 2024.
There will be five roles impacted, with two of the roles currently filled by employees that have substantive positions that reside within the Contract Centres.
Pending the outcome of the consultation regarding the draft Restructure Management Plans they would likely revert to their previously assigned roles which would mean a potential of three employees likely to be impacted.
The reason for the draft Restructure Management Plans (RMP) is due to certain parts of the Card Mailer machine no longer being available and the Card Mailer maintenance Supplier advising that they can no longer guarantee the operation of the Newcastle Card Mailer.
In the meeting today the PSA was advised that staff raised questions regarding the mobility process and HR has advised that they will arrange an information session early next week to answer these questions.
