Following the last report back in the Industrial Relation Commission regarding the On-Call dispute between the SES and the PSA, the SES have released draft Standard Operating Procedures for consultation. This follows the on-call award interpretation guidance discussed in the last PSA bulletin.
Having SOPs will help ensure that procedures are consistent across all SES zones. The draft, when finalised will rescind all previous operational guidance, procedure, and/or policies related to the application of on-call and AHDO. Therefore, it is important that members identify any issues with the draft SOPs. Members can send their feedback to the PSA. The PSA will collate member responses and then write to the SES.
The draft SOPs document can be found HERE.
