As per the last COVID-19 Special Bulletins you have received, the PSA has been in regular contact with the Sheriff’s Office.
Restrictions and work update
Further restrictions were announced by the NSW Government and expanded upon within Campbelltown, Georges River and Parramatta LGAs on 28 July. They are now on par with restrictions with Canterbury-Bankstown, Fairfield and Cumberland LGAs.
At this stage, the PSA understands that all impacted staff have been assisted with suitable working arrangements where possible. Members are encouraged to contact their local Delegate or the Member Support Centre if they are having any issues with accessing suitable working arrangements.
As per the latest advice received from management, (Sheriff’s Officers) Bravo Class 2021 has been temporarily suspended. Management is in the process of organising suitable dates and venues in line with current health orders/restrictions. Further information will be provided when available.
Members are encouraged to liaise with management or their local Delegate if they have any concerns regarding any potential impact on transfers to other locations.
The NSW Government is expanding vaccination hub locations to include the Qudos Bank Arena Vaccination Hub. The hub will initially complete vaccinations for Year 12 students (expected to take about five days). Once this is complete, it is then scheduled to administer doses to others.
The PSA encourages members to talk to their GP about getting vaccinated. Staff are currently eligible to access the vaccine under the 1B vaccine rollout.
If you need any further information, or have any concerns, please contact your local delegate or the Member Support Centre for advice on 1300 772 679.
