Statewide Industrial Action

The POVB State Executive and PSA Senior Industrial Officer David McCauley attended the IRC this afternoon due to the Statewide Industrial Action regarding the closure of Goulburn Correctional Centre Victorian Era wings.
Meaningful discussions were undertaken this afternoon at the IRC and through agreement with the Goulburn POVB Subbranch the current industrial action will be suspended with the Industrial Relations Commissioner giving an undertaking to commence conciliation between affected parties.
This conciliation will take place in the coming weeks.
As such all subbranches are advised to recommence duties at the next appropriate shift.
