Sydney Olympic Park Authority Members’ Bulletin – February 2019 (PDF version)
Welcome back to work and a busy 2019. This will be a big year for the SOPA and, as a PSA member, you can be confident your union will be supporting you with regard to all the issues and changes that may present during the year.
PSA membership
Do you have any new starters in your team, branch or the SOPA in general? Members should be aware that your union does attend the induction sessions for new staff at SOPA, but it would great if you a PSA member could encourage non-members to join. New members can join HERE or email this bulletin to them and they can JOIN HERE.
The PSA covers all employees of SOPA and includes ongoing, temporary employees and agency staff, so why not encourage those new colleagues to join today and come to our regular PSA member meetings.

As you are aware the PSA has undertaken to hold regular members’ meetings at SOAP. The first of these meetings was held on 29 November 2018. At that meeting three PSA Delegates were elected, these Delegates then attended the first SOPA Joint Consultative Committee with PSA Senior Industrial Officer Kerrie Butson. This meeting was held on Wednesday 5 December.

A separate meeting notice will be sent to all members with time and location.
