Training Information
Your union is committed to building members’ skills, confidence, and knowledge through a wide range of high-quality training opportunities at PSA House, across regional NSW and also via web platform. Whether you prefer in-person learning or flexible online options, there’s a training format to suit your needs.
Training formats available
We offer a variety of learning options throughout the year:
- Full-day, face-to-face training
Delivered in Sydney and regional NSW
9:30am – 4:30pm - Half-day online workshops
Interactive sessions delivered via Zoom
10:00am – 1:30pm - One-hour webinars
Short, focused online sessions
12:00pm – 1:00pm - Develop U
Web platform delivery short course
Online via Member Portal
All session times are as listed above, unless otherwise stated.
Full-day courses (face-to-face)
- Registration for full-day courses is available via the Training Application on the PSA website. [Link to Training Application]
- Members attending full-day courses are generally eligible for Special Leave, however you should always check your individual Award or Enterprise Agreement to confirm your entitlement.
- These sessions provide in-depth learning, practical discussion, and valuable networking opportunities with fellow members.
Half-day workshops and webinars (online)
- To register, simply click on the course name on the PSA CPSU NSW website, which will take you directly to the Zoom registration page.
- Members eligible under their Award or Agreement may access Special Leave for half-day workshops only.
- Webinars are not covered by Special Leave.

- If using a phone or tablet, you’ll need to download the Zoom app in advance

DevelopU
DevelopU is an online training portal developed for the Community and Public Sector Union (State Public Sector Federation Group) [CPSU SPSF Group] for use by members of the PSA and CPSU NSW. DevelopU delivers a range of online course, seminars and other interesting information for ongoing learning opportunities that maybe of interest to you, your membership, your employment and the union movement. The portal is accessed via your membership portal and is supplementary to training courses delivered by the PSA CPSU NSW Training unit.
