Treasury and Investment NSW: We want to hear from you!

Treasury and Investment NSW – March 2021 (PDF version)

As of Monday 29 March 2021, the NSW Government has begun repointing 700 jobs across Treasury to the newly created Investment NSW, which will now come under Department of Premier and Cabinet.

There has been no consultation with the PSA surrounding this change, despite this being a requirement of multiple industrial instruments. The PSA understands that outside a few emails containing little detail and a meeting on Friday 26th March 2021, there has been little consultation with staff either. This haphazard and unprofessional approach to workplace change has resulted in staff reporting that they are confused as to how these changes will impact their own work and the work of their team.

The PSA has requested consultation occur regarding this change and clarification of the new structures, policies and procedures for repointing. Failure to immediately begin adequate consultation with staff and the PSA will result in the PSA lodging a dispute in the Industrial Relations Commission.

If you are concerned about what these changes will mean for you and your colleagues, or aware of future changes and would like assistance, please contact your PSA Organiser Amy Lennox at .
