Trustee and Guardian: Dispute regarding Strategy & Governance Restructure

Dispute Regarding Strategy & Governance Restructure - Feb 2020 (PDF version)

Following NSWTG failure to produce a complete change management plan in relation to the Strategy and Governance restructure currently on foot, the PSA lodged a dispute in the NSW Industrial Relations Commission. The dispute was before the Commission on 26 February 2020.

At conciliation, the PSA put on record that while some information had been provided to members, there was no clear rationale or basis for the proposed changes. Without the appropriate information from NSWTG, the PSA argued that members would not be in a position to be properly consulted. The PSA also stated that the likely increase in workload stress which the proposed changes will generate, appear to have been entirely unaccounted for by NSWTG.

To remedy NSWTG’s shortcomings, the Commission recommended a meeting between the PSA and NSWTG’s CEO Adam Dent. This meeting will occur on Monday, 2 March 2020.

A number of members have already sent questions and comments to the PSA. These will be put to the CEO. If members could please forward anything further before Monday, it would be greatly appreciated.
