Union update on the PeopleSoft implementation
We recognise the significant challenges arising from the rollout of the new PeopleSoft system and the pressure this has placed on staff. The CPSU NSW is aware of these impacts and is actively working to address these.
Your delegates continue to meet regularly with management, including Hugh Greenough and Tanya Pratt, to raise members’ concerns and seek appropriate support.
Issues raised with management
In all discussions, the union is advocating for:
- Clear Processes Documented, accessible, step‑by‑step guidance for using PeopleSoft
- Meaningful Training Practical training that equips staff to perform their roles effectively
- Management Support Adequate resourcing and leadership throughout the transition
- Accountability Genuine consideration and response to staff feedback
- Single Source of Truth A central, reliable resource for accurate and up‑to‑date PeopleSoft information
- Health and Wellbeing Recognition of, and action on, the mental health and wellbeing impacts, in line with work health and safety requirements.
Union representation
A broader Student Administration Support (SAS) working group is being established by management. Your union representatives on the working group are:
- Deanne Hill
- Leanne Riley
Other SAS delegates in the workplace include Alexandra Luxford, Suzie Stiles, and Melanie Thompson.
Education Administration Support (EAS) delegates are Kristy Quill and Tracey Doyle.
Members are encouraged to contact their delegates with any concerns, experiences, or issues they would like raised. Every member’s input strengthens our collective advocacy.
