UTS Enterprise Bargaining: The latest pay offer
15 May 2026
Your union, the CPSU NSW, is happy to report significant progress has been made in bargaining, with several substantial issues resolved. Drafting will commence shortly to reflect the negotiated outcomes of your claims, which include change management and professional workload regulation.
The CPSU NSW is encouraged by the university agreeing to our proposal to revert to an annual pay rise.
On that basis the university made a new pay offer, amounting to a 14 per cent pay increase across a four-year term of agreement. It also agreed to our claim of it being frontloaded.
This is broken down into:
- 1.5 per cent May 2026 (Admin Pay Rise)
- 2.5 per cent August 2026
- 3.5 per cent May 2027
- 3.5 per cent May 2028
- 3 per cent May 2029
The parties aim to finalise the draft agreement by mid-June this year.
