Value Us Because We Value You: Launch of the NSW State Emergency Service campaign

You are invited to the soft launch of the PSA’s Value Us Because We Value You campaign, which focuses on recognising, promoting, and defending the vital work of paid NSW SES staff. The launch will take place on Tuesday 6 May 2026 at 12:30pm.
Members will hear from Nicole Harding, Chair of the PSA’s NSW SES Departmental Committee, along with delegates and General Secretary Stewart Little about the purpose of the campaign, why it matters now, and how paid staff enable volunteers, systems, and emergency responses to function, before, during, and after disasters.
This is an opportunity to understand how the campaign will build recognition for NSW SES staff, strengthen our collective voice, and increase pressure on government to properly value and invest in the workforce.
All members are encouraged to attend and be part of shaping this campaign.
