We want to hear from you: Call for iCare member feedback

The PSA is looking for member feedback regarding the proposed changes to be implemented within iCare, including:

  • Changes within the Data, Analytics, Automation & AI team,
  • Changes within the Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF) Underwriting team.

Proposed changes

  • Re-organising the current team to align to the functional capabilities of the Head-of roles, which will mean reporting line changes for some individuals.
  • Minor reporting line changes only for Award employees – no proposed role reductions for Award employees.

The changes propose to build a direct distribution channel, where small- and medium-sized builders can self-service via a simple digital portal​. This will mean a smaller underwriting team is required to focus on larger builders and brokers.

As such, the below changes to the structure and roles are proposed:

  • Removal of two roles currently focused on distribution (one IEA and one Award role).
  • Reduction of team leaders from five to three roles.
  • Repurposing of a systems training role.
