As you may be aware, the NSW Government is moving to reform workers’ compensation in NSW in a way that will significantly affect the rights of workers. Unions NSW has authorised a statewide campaign to resist any changes that are not in the interests of workers in this state and the South Coast Labour Council has been asked to assist with the campaign involving local activity.

Given the short timeline for this campaign and the urgency in promoting awareness of these issues a combined union delegates meeting has been organised for 4.30pm Wednesday 14 May to gather the troops and provide a briefing for the campaign strategy and local actions to be endorsed.

The invitation will be extended to the Unions NSW Secretary to address the meeting and all affiliate secretaries who may wish to attend.
