In the past 24 hours the PSA has received many queries from members about the Premier’s circular on working-from-home arrangements.
As a result of the announcement many agencies are now reviewing their policies. We have been in contact with Departmental Secretaries and they have informed us that many office locations cannot accommodate all staff working onsite and that present arrangements will not change.
Your union believes there will always be flexibility in the workplace and we will never return to pre-COVID work arrangements.
PSA Industrial staff have been in contact with your Delegates. The more information we have from our members to take to the Government, the better. Therefore, we urge members to raise their concerns to Delegates.
In the coming days, the PSA will update members with any further developments regarding the circular from the Premier.
The PSA is here for you. Any member with issues in flexible working arrangements, including working from home, will receive support from their union. If you believe you have a case for flexible working arrangements that is being overruled by your employer, please contact the PSA at "> or on 1800 772 679.
The PSA will only support members. Non-members are urged to join the union.
