Your union has developed a survey on current Award discussions for PSA members.
This survey is designed to capture what members support and don’t support in a new Award. Your responses will formulate the union’s bargaining position going forward. In answering the questions, consider the alternatives that have been provided.
You can take the survey by clicking HERE.
Keep in mind that any new Award must be, in effect, cost-neutral. The alternatives may increase the cost of the new Award.
We strongly encourage all members to complete the survey, so please encourage your colleagues to do so.
The PSA is the exclusive representative of RFS employees and only PSA members can have a say on how your union proceeds. We will fight for the Award that members want.
This survey is for PSA members only and responses will be validated against members’ email addresses.
Please note that the following bulletins have been sent and ideally you should review them before you complete this survey:
- Rural Fire Service Award Update: Hours of Work 4 May
- Rural Fire Service Award Update: Allowances 7 May
- Rural Fire Service Award Update: Shift Work and Incident Conditions 13 May
You may also wish to review the RFS Award Principles Document.
There will be further communication from the PSA over the next few weeks including advice regarding meetings and responses to questions.
The survey will remain open until 11 June.
