Department of Communities and Justice: Workers’ compensation review

The PSA has been seeking a review of how Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) handles its workers’ compensation. Several high-profile DCJ cases have become involved in the icare controversy, including allegations as to the independence of the claims-handling process.

The PSA will keep you informed of outcomes through this review. However, we wanted to ask you if you have had an experience of making a workers’ compensation claim since the NSW Government made significant cuts to the NSW Workers Compensation Act 1987 in 2012.
