Interested in being a PSA Delegate? School Psychologists’ Vocational Advisory Group: Call for nominations now open

The PSA is calling for ONE member from the Sydney Metropolitan area to fill a casual vacancy that has arisen on the School Psychologists Vocational Advisory Group from approximately Term 4 2022 to the end of April 2023. The successful candidate will act as a PSA Delegate representing Sydney Metropolitan members. You will be joining the existing Delegates below:

  • Erin Kremer – Sydney Metropolitan
  • Belinda McGaw – NSW Regional

Delegate duties include promoting union membership and joining up your colleagues, attending meetings with management, participating in Award negotiations, providing members with advice and guidance on workplace issues and attending the School Psychologists Vocational Advisory Group (all-day) meetings on a quarterly basis. You will be released from work duties to attend all PSA meetings on paid time. Delegates are supported and guided by PSA staff.

The PSA provides training for new Delegates which can be attended using Special Leave for Trade Union Training (TUT). You can access up to 12 days TUT every two years.

Nominations and closing date

Each nomination must be seconded by two other members in the same electorate as the nominee.  Nominees, nominators and seconders must be financial members of the Association as at Friday 16 September 2022.
