Law Enforcement Conduct Commission member update

Law Enforcement Conduct Commission member update – June 2018 (PDF version)

Restructure

As members are aware, the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission is to be restructured. LECC management has contacted the PSA and provided a draft organisation structure, which you can access HERE. A number of members will be affected. However, LECC has stated affected members will have the benefit of Government Sector Employment Rule 23, which limits recruitment to internal staff at first instance. The PSA has requested a draft change management plan from LECC in order to begin consultation over the restructure.

Award

LECC also has proposed changes to the LECC Award. LECC have summarised these changes in a document which can be found HERE. The current Award is due to expire on 30 June 2018.

We are seeking feedback from members on the above issues and will be organising a members’ meeting shortly.
