PSA: Fighting for DCJ – Housing Members

Fighting for DCJ - Housing Members (pdf version)

Over the last twelve months the PSA has been talking to members and delegates about their experiences working at the Department of Communities and Justice – Housing every day.

We have heard from members’ right across NSW about the impacts of a range of issues including under-resourcing, access to flex time and flexible work, the psychological impacts of not only the difficult situations you all work in every day but the excessive workloads many members are suffering under with many Housing staff still working in temporary arrangements.

The PSA has been negotiating with different districts and the wider Department to fix these problems and while we have been able to get some significant improvements in some areas we want to do a lot more.

But first we must properly demonstrate how widespread these issues are and to do that we need to hear from the people that are experiencing them, you.

Tell Us What You Think

If you can spare just 9 minutes of your time to fill in our simple survey, we can continue to fight for the things that we know members care about such as permanency, flex time and manageable workloads.

This survey is confidential and no individual respondent will be identified.  We will be using the outcomes of the survey to help us to lobby for better support and more secure work for you.
