Members will have received an email from the PSA on 1 May titled 2020 Salaries claim update. This Bulletin concerns PSA members who have their Salaries tied to the Crown Employees (Public Sector – Salaries 2019) Award.

That Award is currently subject to negotiations between the PSA and the NSW Government.

For PSA members employed with Transport for NSW, your Salary Increases are linked to the Transport for NSW & Sydney Metro Salaries & Conditions of Employment Award 2019. This includes RMS members covered by the Roads and Maritime Services Consolidated Salaried Award 2019.

Transport for NSW members were advised by a bulletin on 16 September 2019 that these Awards had been made by the NSW Industrial Relations Commission advising the terms of those Conditions contained within the Award.

In 2020 Members will see their Salaries increase by 2.5 per cent. Salary increases are due to be paid on the first full pay period after 1 July 2020.

The PSA hopes this clarifies any confusion inadvertently caused by the Bulletin circulated on 1 May 2020.
