You may have heard the PSA has received orders this evening from the Industrial Relations Commission ordering us to cease industrial action planned for tomorrow, 8 June 2022.

The PSA Central Council has directed members to proceed with industrial action as planned.

Why are we are still going on strike?

We are walking off the job and fighting for all Public Sector workers to receive a minimum wage increase of 5.2 per cent, exclusive of any increase to superannuation.

The offer by the NSW Government is nowhere near what our members deserve and need as a living wage in NSW, to keep up with inflation and the cost of living.

On top of that there is extreme under resourcing of schools, a workload crisis and unacceptable levels of temporary staff across all classifications.

Therefore, all members are to cease work for 24 hours tomorrow from 12:00am (midnight Wednesday morning) to 11:59pm Wednesday night.
