Want to be more involved in your union? Become a PSA Housing Contact Centre delegate.

Nominations are now open for the following positions to represent members at SWS Housing Contact Centre:

  • Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • Women’s Officer
  • Committee members X 7

As a delegate or other representative, you’ll be involved in:

  • setting the collective targets and objectives of the members
  • promoting the values and advantages of union membership in your workplace
  • maintaining regular contact with members
  • recruiting new members with the aim of obtaining 100 percent union membership
  • participating in negotiations to advocate on behalf of members
  • assisting members with grievances and other issues they wish to take up with management.

All delegates will be given free training by the PSA in their role, as well as ongoing support from the union. PSA delegates have the right to be released from normal duty when undertaking union activities.

All financial members of the PSA from SWS Housing Contact Centre are welcome to nominate.

Nominations are open until 3pm on 12 May 2017.
