Have your say. Get involved. Strengthen your union representation.
The PSA invites all NSW Trustee and Guardian (NSWTAG) members to attend a state-wide member meeting on Thursday 5 November 2026, via Microsoft Teams.
Your PSA Delegates, Glen Kirk, Nicholas Cusack, Terry Hancock, Lynn Ellis and Mahen Anderson, will be joining your PSA industrial team Organiser Alex Sala and Industrial Officer Monika Wunderlin. Apologies from Delegate Pheba Netto.
This meeting is an important opportunity to hear from members, discuss upcoming workplace changes, raise collective concerns and strengthen union representation across NSW Trustee & Guardian.
Key discussion topics will include:
12:00pm-12:45pm NSWTAG Proposed Local Health District Alignment
We will discuss the proposed alignment of the Public Guardian (PG) and Estate Management (EM) with Local Health Districts.
Your feedback, questions, concerns and suggestions are welcome. Your input is essential in helping the PSA understand the potential workplace impacts and effectively advocate on members’ behalf.
12:45pm-1:15pm Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) update and member issues
Your Industrial team will update you on:
- The previous JCC meeting.
- Outstanding workplace matters and concerns.
- Discuss with you on collective issues members would like raised with the NSW Trustee & Guardian.
- Answer questions about workplace rights and union representation.
- And we are calling for two new workplace delegates within the Public Guardian Division.
Workplace Delegates play a vital role in ensuring members have a voice and are represented in discussions with management, particularly during periods of organisational change and realignment.
These positions will also strengthen member representation at Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meetings and the PSA provides training and release time to attend JCC meetings.
If you are interested in becoming a Delegate or would like to find out more, please attend the meeting and speak with your PSA team.
Please note: JCC meetings deal with collective workplace matters.
Individual matters are managed confidentially and should initially be referred to the PSA Member Support Centre.
Bring a colleague and grow our union!
Know someone who isn’t yet a PSA member? Encourage them to join the meeting for the first 5–10 minutes.
Online PSA membership forms will be available for anyone interested in joining.
The more members who get involved, the stronger our collective voice.
Feel free to bring your lunch and join the conversation!
