You are invited to the first meeting of the Sydney Metro Campaign Action Group.

The NSW wages system is broken, preventing the NSW Industrial Relations Commission from awarding a fair and decent pay rise for public sector workers.

The 8 June Day of Action was only one step in many to fix the broken system. To make change we need to continue the campaign and to get local, both in our workplaces and the community. That is why your union is establishing the Sydney Metro Campaign Action Group, that will assist with building PSA/CPSU NSW actions, both in the workplace and local community, initially relating to the Public Sector Needs a Pay Rise Campaign. Some of the ways this will be done is by identifying:

• PSA/CPSU NSW worksites to contact via tactics such as leaflets
• Potential community events
• Political lobbying opportunities.

Come to this meeting if you would like to be involved in your local campaign in the Sydney Metro Region.
