The Award that sets your pay and conditions is up for renegotiation before it expires mid next year.
In the last few rounds of award negotiations we ran surveys of the membership around their conditions of employment and what they would like to see change. We have been inundated with great ideas from the result of these surveys. Suggestions include the need for a new flexible work agreement, which is now part of our negotiations with the Department.
Due to the fantastic results we have received in the past, we will once again be conducting a survey of our membership to ensure we can best represent their interests in negotiations. Many members may recall we ran a similar survey earlier in the year for this year’s negotiations. With the short period between Award negotiations, responses given earlier in the year will also be considered when we compile our log of claims.
