Do you work on the front lines of Child Protection in the Central West NSW District?
Regional Organiser Belinda Pearce and Senior Organiser Belinda Tsirekas will be visiting Community Services Centers (CSCs) throughout the NSW Central West to discuss current issues affecting members,
They will provide an update on the ongoing Child Protection in Crisis Campaign, the PSA win of reclassifying Grade 3 Caseworkers to Grade 4 and the current negotiations for the new Child Protection Employee Award.
Workload Planner
The PSA will also be running Workload Planner Lunch & Learn sessions both in CSCs and via MS Teams whilst visiting the Central West. This will assist members in setting boundaries and prioritising their workload. The sessions will give them tools to say “no” to work they simply do not have the hours to complete.
The current Workload Planner is easier to use than you might thin. We urge you to put it into action because the fact remains: if it’s not measurable, it’s not manageable. The Workload Planner gives the PSA, and Manger Client Services, Directors and Executive District Director, evidence to clearly demonstrate that there are not enough workers to meet the workload.
We will also be discussing member benefits such as personal journey insurance, Union Shopper discounts, free ambulance cover and free will service.
Non-members are also welcome to attend and have a chat about the benefits of joining the PSA.
